Milsim or military simulation involves the use of working replica weapons and small unit tactics to create an environment as close to real combat as possible.
Like real life military operations, Milsim requires participants to use leadership, teamwork, communication and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances to achieve mission objectives.

Milsim Sports Wellington is an incorporated society whose members come from a diverse range of backgrounds. We are a privately run sports club that focuses on providing a fun and safe environment for military style war games.
The replica weapons we use were originally developed for use in training Police and Military forces. They are very close to exact copies and use compressed gas to fire various types of .43 cal projectiles from 20-25 round magazines while also ejecting shell casings.
Milsim Sports Wellington runs both day and night events in a variety of different terrain loosely grouped into two categories... Black Role and Green Role although game objectives often involve operating in both. Black role consists of close urban and CQB environments where target
ranges are short and things happen very quickly. Green role encompasses all outdoor open terrain scenarios, ranging from bush and farm land to
coastal and snow.
Application for membership is open to anyone over the age of 18 who is motivated to be part of a team.
